WHAT SHOULD I DONATE?
Creativity is the key. Personal services are often our auction's biggest hits. Feel free to work with other DPNS families to put together themed gifts or to purchase larger items. You might consider donating something of value you already have, such as theatre or sports tickets, or those dusty bottles of premium wine you've been saving for a special event. Bear in mind that some of the treasures of past auctions have been handmade arts and crafts or homemade gourmet or ethnic foods – unique items that can't be bought anywhere else. Themed parties also sell well. For more suggestions, take a look at last year's auction catalog (2 mb, 48 page PDF file; may take a few moments for download) or simply read on...
• WEEKEND TRIPS •
No time to shop? The auction solicitors will be organizing hotels, dinner, and entertainment for couples and families in popular destinations like MONTEREY BAY, SAN FRANCISCO, TAHOE, BODEGA BAY, NAPA, and DAVIS. If you or someone you know has a vacation home or a timeshare, please contact an auction coordinator at dpnsauction@yahoo.com or enter your donation information online at the MAKE A DONATION page. If you would like to contribute money towards a vacation package, enter your donation information online and bring a check to the family donation drop-off day. We are in need of airline travel vouchers. Note: If you have Southwest travel vouchers that have expired within the last year, they can be renewed for another year for $50.00.
